Dear SNEB Community,
The Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior Annual Conference serves as a way for professionals from all over the world to gather and share developments in the field of nutrition education. Over the course of the last year, the world has changed shape dramatically, and, like all of you, we have had to continuously adjust.
Considering the on-going developments with COVID-19 and keeping the health and safety of our community top of mind, the SNEB Board of Directors and Conference Committee have made the decision to transition our 2021 Annual Conference to an entirely virtual experience that will take place Sunday, August 8 – Tuesday, August 10. We believe this is the safest approach for the well-being of our global audience and we are excited to build upon the success of last year’s virtual conference.
Attendees will be able to participate virtually in vital conversations to guide systemic changes toward equity, food security and sovereignty, food justice, and ecological sustainability.
Networking is a cornerstone of our annual event and attendees will be able to partake in interactive and engaging experiences through a dynamic virtual conference platform.
Event recordings will also be available for purchase so after the conference attendees can view any sessions they missed at their own pace.
As always, SNEB members receive access to the lowest registration fees. Registration for the 2021 Annual Conference will open in mid-April. Visit sneb.org/2021 for the latest conference updates.
For those still looking to gather in-person, mark your calendars for August 26-27, 2021 for an interactive, smaller, in-person deep dive experience in New Orleans. More information will be available at a later date.
