SNEB Leadership Institute
SNEB is excited to announce the inaugural SNEB Leadership Institute. The Institute is designed to assist early to mid-career professionals in developing and enhancing their leadership skills. In this first year of the Institute, we will begin with a small cohort of early to mid-career professionals.
Participants will complete pre-workshop readings and activities and then meet in-person in a half-day preconference workshop at the 2025 SNEB International Conference in Indianapolis, IN.
Following the conference, participants will participate in activities and readings, online meetings with a mentor, and quarterly online meetings with the full group. At the end of the year, participants will come back together for another in-person, half-day preconference workshop at the 2026 SNEB International Conference. During that second in-person preconference workshop, participants will work with a new cohort of participants to further develop their leadership skills and competencies.
If you are interested in participating in the SNEB Leadership Institute, the applications in 2026 will open in September 2025. Applications will be reviewed by an ad hoc committee established by the SNEB Board of Directors and selected based on the following criteria: leadership potential, experience/goals, commitment to professional development, and interest in future leadership service
Application Process
Please provide brief narrative statements, that are 250 words or less each, for each of the following:
- Personal Leadership Vision
- Past leadership experiences and/or future leadership goals
- Personal qualities that you feel makes you well-positioned for future leadership
- Why you are interested in participating in this program
Please include your CV and the name and contact information of three references with your application.
The SNEB Leadership Institute requires a $150 fee. Please let us know if you would need a sponsor to cover your registration fees.
