The Division of International Nutrition Education (DINE) and Food and Nutrition Extension Education (FNEE) invite you to a webinar aimed at highlighting UN's Food and Agriculture Organization International Year of Fruits and Vegetables. (IYFV). The webinar will focus on the second objective of the IYFV: "Promoting diversified, balanced, and healthy diets and lifestyles through effective nutrition education strategies focused on fruit and vegetable consumption”. Webinar speakers will address the importance and key elements of the FAO’s Declaration of IYFV, highlight fruits and vegetables consumption patterns and determinants of fruit and vegetable consumption and share innovative and creative ways to promote fruit and vegetable consumption through nutrition education and behavioral change strategies in low income communities.
