Students are the future of nutrition education and the success of the Society, so we have made special plans for students to get the most from their conference experience.

SNEB offers student conference attendees (both member and non-member) the opportunity to volunteer onsite in exchange for free conference registration. For each 2 hours of volunteer time, student members may attend one day of conference for free and for each 4 hours of volunteer time, student non-members may attend one day of conference for free. The rising star symbol can be found on the name badges and published abstracts of attendees potentially interested in pursuing further graduate studies. This symbol is intended to help university faculty members identify and connect with potential future graduate students during the conference.
