The Foods & Moves mobile app suite includes 4 custom apps and was created as part of the HEROs Study (HEalthy EnviROnments Study), to support preschool-aged children’s development of eating behaviors and movement skills in the home environment. Mobile apps can serve as tools that help parents positively engage with their children and assist them in developing skills needed for optimal development, including eating and movement skills. This webinar will provide an overview of the 4 apps, present parents’ perceptions off the apps in engaging children in the target behaviors, and discuss key considerations for nutrition educators in app development.
