Nutrition education is delivered through multiple venues and involves activities at the individual, community, and policy levels.

Spring Journal Club: Design and Implementation of a Nutrition and Breastfeeding Education Program for Black Expecting Mothers and Fathers

Project Dads in Nutrition Education (DINE) is an intervention that adds nutrition and breastfeeding education to 3 existing Healthy Start Programs in Georgia. Project DINE has 3 components: (1) nutrition education, (2) breastfeeding education, and (3) father engagement. During this presentation, we will describe the intervention and research methods of Project DINE for Black expecting mothers and fathers to improve nutrition literacy, health outcomes, and breastfeeding rates. We will also share some results and lessons learned from the project and partners.
