The DVD was fairly fast-paced with a good mix of footage of people, graphic illustration and food label examples.

The resource begins immediately with MyPyramid information. Perhaps beginning the DVD with an overview of the content, or stating the purpose and key concepts on the resource packaging or additional materials, would be helpful for nutrition educators. Also, adding a resource guide/lesson plan for educators would be helpful in reinforcing the concepts.

This fast-paced resource covers a wide range of topics and could serve as a preview or summary for a nutrition lesson about smart shopping. It could also stand alone; however, participants would benefit from some time to process the information through activities or discussion.
