Overall Comments on Resource Reviewed

A. Positive Points of the Reviewed Resource:
A varied collection of fun food songs from different genres and musical styles. Songs introduce different kinds of fruits, vegetables, cheese, and whole grains, with many that kids are less familiar. Most songs are easy to sing along.
B. Points that Could Be Improved:
Printed lyrics were not provided with the CD and had to be requested separately, but mailed free of charge.

The CD has something that will appeal to everyone. Songs change up from slow to fast, providing a variety of beats and song lengths.

From growing food, making food, the history of a food, and shopping for food, to healthy eating, this CD is a good complement to MyPlate and Dietary Guidelines concepts introduced to kids through books or lessons. The silliness and educational creativity should appeal to kids.
